Position Summary 
As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making process. 
Specific Job Summary (describe the nature and purpose of the position) 
As a member of the Data & Analytics team supporting digital for the Marriott Vacations Worldwide brand, the Sr. Analyst, Digital Insights will be responsible for providing digital analytics and insights to support a variety of initiatives across multiple brands and resorts. 
Leveraging web and mobile analytics tools, the Sr. Analyst, Digital Insights is expected to produce accurate insights that will drive appropriate business actions based upon solid evidence in data.  We are looking for a dynamic, innovative individual with detailed oriented analytical and interpersonal skills to create and define actionable analytics solutions for key stakeholders. This individual should have an eye for detail and be able to independently troubleshoot problems and follow them through to remediation. 

Expected Contributions 
▪ Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.  ▪ Responds to, solves and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk.   ▪ Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff. ▪ Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by: − identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes. − providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-ofcontact for problem resolution. − participating in setting department operating plans. − recognizing and celebrating team successes. − achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility. ▪ Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. 
▪ Performs other duties as appropriate. 
Specific Expected Contributions
• Troubleshoot web data/defects discovered through voice of customer feedback or analytics data and work to remediate the issue. • Develop and maintain customer dashboards for consumption by senior management and executive teams utilizing analytics tools (primarily Adobe). • Consult with internal customers (e.g., Communications, Sales, Owner Services) to develop detailed tracking for their business initiatives and assist in providing. (i.e. Campaign management) • Identify new opportunities to test marketing initiatives across brand and utilize testing tools (Adobe Target primarily) to gain actionable insights 
▪ Provide internal customers with regularly updated reports and dashboards related to MVW’s digital efforts such as websites and apps.  They will also provide insight into digital experience performance derived from quantitative analysis. ▪ Develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards.  This includes managing the back-end data connectivity and automation. ▪ Recommend the right key performance indicators to match the needs of leaders, working closely with our Digital Customer Experience team.   ▪ Meet with a variety of digital contributors including developers, project leaders, and product owners to understand and define analytic requirements within an agile environment. ▪ Regularly update the project management system of record as they develop new dashboards and visualizations for internal use.  
Candidate Profile 
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows: 
Generally a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology).  College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.  
Specific Candidate Profile (the education, experience, skills and attributes that are important for this position) 
▪ Minimum 4+ years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related field.  Experience developing reports and dashboards to track the impact of digital marketing campaigns preferred. 
▪ Minimum 4-year degree in marketing, business administration, analytics, mathematics, or related field preferred.  MBA or equivalent graduate degree (decision science, mathematics, etc.) preferred. 
▪ Experience with Adobe and/or Google Analytics tools is required. 
▪ Experience with marketing attribution modeling and measurement preferred. 

▪ Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar is required 
▪ Experience with Adobe and/or Google Analytics tools is required. 
▪ Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred. 
▪ Experience with documentation such as technical specifications for analytics implementation is preferred. 
▪ Must be a strong collaborator, but also a motivated self-starter as an individual contributor.  
▪ Experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry a plus.
