Generally works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making process.

Specific Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager Sales & Marketing, the Recruiting Sourcing Manager manages the delivery and implementation of talent acquisition programs, processes, procedures, and systems in compliance with all relevant employment regulations for region. The role supports the regions specific recruiting strategies for management and hourly positions in alignment with the COE defined corporate Human Resources strategies. The Regional Sourcing Manager will work with the site leadership at each location within his/her region to understand and define their hourly staffing requirements and to provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications that will meet business needs as appropriate. The incumbent will keep up to date with current recruiting best practices and methods and maintaining good relationships with local market employment programs, and Community Based Organizations, schools, etc. This role will concentrate on all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. In this role, there will be a need to travel approximately twenty five percent of the time.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • The Recruiting Sourcing Manager works closely with the Regional Recruiting Manager and site leadership to provide an Hourly Sourcing strategy for site and for all hourly positions. .
  • Assists site leadership in creating and fostering relationships with local schools and community based organizations within the region (which the CoE associates may not be familiar with).
  • Works with site leadership to design and execute hourly site recruiting strategies and plans within designated market.
  • Conduct research and true labor market expert within the Region, with insight on who and where the best talent is, what the labor market trends are, and how the site should position themselves to best attract talent in that space.
  • Would monitor and analyze leading metrics within the Region to stay ahead of hard-to-fill sourcing needs. Develops existing relationships within the region (schools, recruiters etc.) that were established under Marriott International.
  • Would research and utilize various recruitment methods within the region, depending on the response rates, including:
  • Grass roots market recruiting initiatives
  • posting on Job Boards
  • placing adverts in local press
  • hosting career nights and job fairs
  • having a presence at job fairs.
  • Job requires sourcing managers to design/drive grass roots recruiting efforts.
  • May works directly with Change Management/Internal Communications to ensure new policies, processes, tools, etc. are communicated to the end users in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Surfaces any recruiting issues at the site with the potential to escalate to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and/or Center of Excellence, if necessary.
  • May be the first point of contact for the Leadership Team at each resort (within his/her region) for any Recruiting requests.
  • Designs and helps to design and develop Recruiting-related processes within the hourly space pertinent to the sites in his/her region.
  • Reviews and analyzes applicant survey results. Identifies trends in feedback and provides follow up for issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to the businesses.
  • Works to harness the increasing capabilities of technology within in the Recruiting world, with specific emphasis on Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.).
  • Upskills site leadership on Global Recruiting Systems. ,
  • Acts as a local consultant and liaison with Global Shared Services on Hourly recruitment strategies and efforts and may be called upon to engage in tactical efforts associated with these strategies. Partners with Global HR Services in developing and implementing Tier II and Tier III sourcing for designated market.
  • Assists Regional Recruiters with pre-employment paperwork.

Generally a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Sales & Marketing). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.

Education/Certifications

  • Four year Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience in building strong community based organization (CBO) relationship within specific region preferred
  • Expert in hourly candidate sourcing preferred.
  • Experience with developing/executing local recruiting strategies designed to target hard to fill positions.
  • On-property resort or hotel experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Japanese preferred.
