Position Summary

As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making process.

Specific Job Summary (describe the nature and purpose of the position)

The primary objective of this position is to provide support as a key technical resource for several vital enterprise software application systems through execution of predefined ITIL processes. Responsibilities include systems analysis, design, and coordination of enterprise system modifications and upgrades to enterprise software applications to meet key business requirements. This position works closely with multiple vendors, business departments, and IT teams to manage ongoing production support and maintenance activities for several enterprise applications and interfaces. This is a technical role in applications systems analysis, serving as a subject matter expert and technical specialist providing architectural knowledge and best practices in operational support for these systems. The individual will be a self-starter, able to work independently, required to establish and maintain processes, and work effectively with other groups to resolve technical issues.

This position is responsible for coordination and execution of operational support activities, performing incident management in accordance with established service levels, and delivery of system modification and enhancements for business initiatives. In addition, this position is responsible for coordination of related application changes and review of technical designs and assessment of available solution approaches.

Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities)

  • Coordinate with vendors, IT, and business teams to ensure timely resolution for incidents, service requests, and problems related to software applications, data, and system availability and performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors, IT, and business teams to request, review, approve, and ensure successful deployment of Changes and Releases.
  • Obtain thorough understanding of both the business logic and technologies (software & hardware) used in the applications.
  • As a subject matter expert, provide information about applications and interfaces to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in security reviews, audits, assessments, and remediation.
  • Prepare and maintain operational support documentation.
  • Performs analysis to provide technical solutions to business issues/enhancements.
  • Performs analysis, design, development, deployment, and training phases of solutions.
  • Provides support for disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
  • Participate in testing and new release rollout and support.
  • Manages and develops mappings, scripts, and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to standards e.g. processes, security, and documentation standards.
  • Identify data discrepancies, data quality issues, and ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Create data extracts and data fixes, as needed.
  • Ensure that the applications are operational and perform according to business requirements.
  • Deliver on time and budget committed results to customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to management.
  • Manage and communicate time and cost estimates.
  • Assist the user community in understanding and usage of the data supported with the application.
  • Perform troubleshooting of end user components as needed.

Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.

  • College degree and/or equivalent training or experience required.
  • 5+ Years experience in hospitality technology or related field


  • Extensive experience deploying hospitality-related technical systems, including, but not limited to POS, PMS and related systems interfaces, and Key Systems.
  • Understanding of terms and lifecycle of construction, new build, and steady-state operational environments.
  • Experience integrating external systems to resort technology systems in a secure and reliable manner
  • Extensive experience analyzing system and data problems
  • Experience with data gathering, understanding and defining requirements, documentation, reporting, and strategic management.
  • Experience with compliance of PII and PCI Data Security Standards (DSS)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle critical systems operations conditions
  • Significant experience managing outsourced vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
