Job Description:

Do you want to be part of a team that experiences the excitement and fun of being in the heart of the city each day? This fast-paced position will offer you the opportunity to engage with resort guests helping them to explore, taste, socialize, and learn about Boston in fun and enjoyable ways. From learning about Boston's rich history to its current day attractions; helping guests navigate public transportation and discover Boston's hidden gems. This role will be instrumental in maximizing our guest's vacation experience. This position also involves moderate amounts of Event planning including intake, set up, and implementation in our on-site facilities. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and creative individual who likes to plan, innovate and collaborate; a person capable of multitasking and juggling many details. This individual should possess impeccable customer service skills and enjoy engaging with travelers from around the world.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage with guests to encourage and recruit participation in various activities (tours, tastings, socials, etc).
  • Register and schedule guests for activities
  • Lead social events with guests and promote conversation
  • Lead small, leisurely-paced tours to Boston's unique neighborhoods sharing Boston's rich history and culture
  • Answer guest questions regarding the resort and the city
  • Provide on-site tastings using proper food-handling safety measures
  • Plan and oversee on-site entertainment
  • Maintain on-site activities/recreation facilities/spaces
  • Assist with intake, planning and staffing of on-site client events
  • Consistently deliver high levels of guest engagement and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize written and verbal communication to ensure guest engagement and satisfaction
  • Inventory, order and organize Activities and Events supplies

Promote the rules and regulations of safety and welfare of guests and members. Follow company policies and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
