Position Summary:

Performs the clerical tasks required for the efficient operation of the department such as but not limited to the following:  answers the telephone and assists guests and other individuals with their requests, takes orders/messages and turns them over to the Service Express Attendants, and coordinates and logs all transactions as they occur during the course of the day.  Maintains call logs and Service Express storeroom logs.  Coordinates luggage traffic.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Extends a friendly and courteous greeting to all guests.  
  • Answers all calls to the Service Express Desk with telephone courtesy standards, and assists guests and other individuals with their requests. 
  • Answer guest questions and provide directions.   
  • Takes orders/messages and turns them over to the Service Express Attendants. 
  • Arranges for taxi or other transportation services for guests.  
  • Coordinates and log all transactions, amenity deliveries, luggage deliveries and villa deliveries in an orderly manner for arriving and departing guest.
  • Ensures rotation of Service Express Attendant is kept in order.
  • Maintains adequate quantities of supplies at Service Express Desk at all times, such as pens, post its, cart polish etc.
     

Requirements:

  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.  
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Required to obtain and/or maintain a current Driver’s License, and provide annually a clear Traffic Abstract.
  • Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
